Daniel Spasic

Chairman of the board Daniel Spasic is a life science entrepreneur, strategist, chair- and board member with 25 years in senior executive roles. He joined the industry in 1996 with Pharmacia & Upjohn, working with clinical drug development in Sweden and Italy in CNS and Oncology. Daniel founded the global CRO company TFS Trial Form Support International in 1996. Under his leadership it grew to 100 MUSD in revenues, located in 20 countries, employing over 800 and serving 250 customers worldwide. In 2010 Daniel received the Swedish National Award for ‘Man of The Year’ by Ernst & Young and was named ‘Entrepreneur of The Year’ by Founders Alliance and Grant Thornton. Daniel serves as Executive Chairman in Trialbee, and Non-Executive Board Director in NuvoAir. He holds a technical degree in chemical engineering and an OPM from Harvard Business School. He is based in Boston, USA.

Jan Hellqvist

Jan Hellqvist has over 30 years’ extensive experience in the life science industry with a special focus on restructuring and growing companies to produce strong growth and profit. He has held senior executive and management roles in the pharma service industry, including medical devices, diagnostics and Contract Research, and has extensive experience in the Respiratory sector, including senior roles at Astra and Astra Zeneca on their blockbuster asthma treatments Pulmicort®, and Symbicort®. He has held senior positions in sales, business development, global marketing and executive international management at companies including AstraZeneca, Stryker, Dako, TFS & LINK Medical, KLIFO and others. Mr. Hellqvist has an EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) from Lund University.

Per Gerde

Associate Professor of Inhalation Toxicology, Scientist at the Division of Physiology, Institute of Environmental Medicine at the Karolinska Institutet. Previous appointments include scientist at the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (1993– 1998), scientist at the Swedish National Institute of Occupational Health (1991–1996), and postdoctoral fellow at the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (1989–1991). Dr. Gerde has published approx. 30 peer reviewed scientific papers. He is also the main inventor of six patent families with related patent applications.

Sonja Gerde

With an MSc in Industrial Economics from Linköping University. Sonja works as an Investment Manager at Axcel. From 2014 to 2017 she worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Stockholm.
